HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES WITH SANTA!
Santa is getting ready to arrive in South Bend to see all his favorite boys & girls!
TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY & SANTA'S ARRIVAL
Friday, December 4: 5:30 - 6:45 p.m.
College Football Hall of Fame Gridiron (Organized by South Bend Parks & Recreation)
Everyone's invited to the big event - Santa's arrival and the lighting of the Tree! Join area children from the IUSB Community Connection Dancers & Choir and Starz Academy as they perform. The Holiday Greeting Card artists will also be introduced and recognized. Cookies and hot chocolate served inside of the College Football Hall of Fame.
Free parking is available on December 4th at the following two City garages starting at 4:30 pm:
1. Main-Colfax Garage (enter via Main St.)
2. Leighton Center Garage (enter via Jefferson Blvd.)

How it works and its FREE!
Santa's House:
Look for the little red and white house located next to The South Bend Chocolate Café. Santa House is a great place to spend one-on-one time with the "big guy." So don't forget to bring your wish list and a camera!

BYOC - 'Bring Your Own Camera' and take photos of Santa with your loved ones.

Receive a candy cane and 'I Believe' sticker from Santa and ride the Trolley for free!

On the Trolley, receive a ticket from the Trolley Conductor for a free chocolate bar and a chance to win your own private chocolate party at the South Bend Chocolate Café.
Workshop & Gingerbread Village
Located inside of the College Football Hall of Fame, the Workshop is where you can spend time with family and friends doing all sorts of activities and having fun!

Coloring, holiday movies, hands-on activities - cookies decorating and demonstrations.

Live musical performances throughout the month.

Visit Santa's Gingerbread Village. See the beautiful gingerbread creations by "kids" of all ages and don't forget to vote for your favorite!
- Stop by the downtown information table for special offerings by downtown merchants and businesses.

When the weather outside is "frightful" Santa moves insides to his Workshop to visit with all the boys and girls.
Christmas Movies Every Saturday
Make sure to stop by the press box area to catch one of your favorite holiday movies! All the movies are shown on Saturdays and start at 2pm!

Willow Bay Ceramics
Downtown South Bend, Inc. (DTSB) and Willow Bay Ceramics owner, Kristin Hendrix, are partnering to help raise funds and awareness for RiverBend Cancer Services during the month of December at Santa’s Workshop. Ceramic ornaments, each uniquely handmade out of red clay, glazed in pink, and fired by Hendrix, come in a three designs: A ribbon, snowflake and angel. Ornaments can be personalized and purchased only at Santa’s Workshop for a cost of $5.00 with all profits being donated to RiverBend Cancer Services.
Roz Puppets Performs Galactic Holiday at Santa's Workshop
Wednesday, December 23: 4:00 p.m.
Join the zany group that makes up The Roz Puppets as they perform their new holiday program Galactic Holiday. When an out-of-this-world visitor lands in The Roz Puppets Theatre, it's up to Rufus, Pete and all the others to show him how and why music and song play an important role in holiday celebrations. The show runs approximately 45 minutes and stars a wide array of Roz Puppet characters.
Remember to have FUN and bring your wish list and camera!

Two hour on-street parking is available on most downtown street. Please look for parking signs on the street. In addition to on-street, the following City parking garages offer free parking after 7:00 PM on weekdays and all day on weekends:

BREAKFAST WITH SANTA AT THE NEWMAN CENTER
Saturday, December 5: 8:00 - 9:30 a.m.
Hosted by South Bend Parks & Recreation
Cost: $5 per person. Pre-registration required.
Enjoy breakfast and visit with Santa. There will be face painting, balloon art and a performance by Jetta and the Jellybeans. Don't forget the camera! Breakfast will take place at the Newman Center, located at Northside Blvd. & the Sample Street Bridge (across from the Farmer's Market).
BREAKFAST WITH SANTA AT THE CENTER FOR HISTORY
Saturday, December 5: 9:00 a.m. - Center for History
Center for History - 808 W. Washington St.
Pre-paid reservations required by December 3.
General - $10/adults, $8/Children. Members - $6/adults, $5/children.
This annual children's event includes a delightful breakfast, personal visit with Santa, stroll through the International Trees, holiday scavenger hunt and more!
TEA WITH SANTA AT ERSKINE CLUBHOUSE
Saturday, December 5: Noon & 1:15 p.m.
Hosted by South Bend Parks & Recreation
Cost: $5 per person. Pre-registration required.
Enjoy a light lunch with Santa at the Erkskine Clubhouse located at 4200 Miami Street.
HOLIDAY SKATING PARTY AT THE HOWARD PARK SKATING RINK
Sunday, December 6: 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Hosted by South Bend Parks & Recreation
Cost: $2 per person or (2) pet food items.
Join family and friends at the outdoor rink, located at Jefferson & St. Louis Blvds., for a fun-filled time of skating. Santa will be there and there will be refreshments too! Skate rental is available and don't forget your camera for pictures with Santa!

Dream Coach Carriages - Friday Night Carriage Rides* (Located at the corner of Michigan St. & Colfax Ave., near the Morris Performing Arts Center). Bundle up and take a leisurely horse drawn carriage ride through beautiful downtown South Bend from 7:00 - 10:00p.m. Two tours available. HOLIDAY TREE ON THE GRIDIRON!
Visit the tree located on the College Football Hall of Fame's Gridiron. Take pictures and take part in the festivities planned: visit with Santa in his Santa House just in front of the tree and don't forget Santa's Workshop inside the College Football Hall of Fame.
